(a) Begin by highlighting the text you want linked. You may want a single word, an entire sentence, or an image to serve as a gateway, linking users to a pre-existing page on your site.
(b) Leave your desired text highlighted and click on the Insert/Edit Link icon in your WYSIWYG editor.
NOTE: You will not be able to access the Insert/Edit Link tool until you highlight a piece of text or an image.
(c) After clicking on the Insert/Edit Link icon, the Insert/Edit Link pop-up window will appear over your content page.
(d) Type in the URL of the page you want to link to in the Link URL field. If you do not know the URL, open up your site in a new browser tab or window. Find your desired page, then copy and paste the URL in the Link URL field.
(e) Beneath the Link URL field, you will find the Target field. This option allows you to decide how users will access the linked page. Set this option before clicking the Insert button.
(f) Use the Title field in the Link Editor to create a title for your link.
The title will display when a user hovers over the link with the mouse.
(g) Click the Insert button after you have set the Target and Title fields to activate your link.
