A simple and elegant teaser block that the end-user has full control over: from managing each field in the block, to placement on the site. The end-user may make as many of these blocks as they wish, and just like a normal block, the Full Width Teaser blocks are managed through the cog. Below are some additional notes:
Create a New Full-Width Teaser Block
1) log into site
2) go to Content > Blocks
3) click Add Block
4) click Full-Width Teaser
5) enter-in a Label, which is only used for block administration (see Suggested Naming Convention*)
6) enter-in a Title, which is the title for the block
7) enter-in Text, which is the copy for the block
8) enter-in Read More Link Title, which is the copy for the button, in the block
9) enter-in Read More Link URL, which is the page you'd like to link to
10) select a Background Image, which is the image you'd like in the background of the block
11) click Save
Position a Full-Width Teaser Block on Home Page
1) log into site
2) go to Structure > Blocks
3) locate the block you wish to place on the site
4) click Configure
5) select Panel First from the JVN6 Region Settings drop-down menu. Please note, Panel First can only have one Full-Width Teaser block at a time.
6) click Only the Listed Pages under Visibility Settings
7) enter-in the home page: <front>
8) click Save Block
Position a Full-Width Teaser Block on a Basic Page
1) log into site
2) goto Structure > Blocks
3) locate the block you wish to place on the site
4) click Configure
5) select Panel Sixth from the JVN6 Region Settings drop-down menu
6) click Only the Listed Pages under Visibility Settings
7) enter-in the names of sections, or individual pages, where you'd like to place the block
8) click Save Block
Edit Content in an Already Positioned Block
1) log into site
2) hover of block
3) click cog and select Edit Block
4) perform you content edits
5) click Save

1) log into site
2) goto Content > Blocks
3) click the Title for the block you wish to edit
4) perform you content edits
5) click Save
Re-Position an Already Positioned Block
1) log into site
2) hover of block
3) click cog and select Configure Block
4) edit the placement under Visibility Settings
5) click Save Block
Suggested Naming Convention*
For greater clarity and ease-of-management on the block administration, we suggest naming Full-Width Teaser blocks using the following naming convention:
• Full-Width Teaser – [Name of Block]
• eg. Full-Width Teaser – Giving Block
